New Midsize Cars Are on Their Way to India
Tata Curvv ICE:
Recently, Tata unveiled the production version of the Curvv in the UK, alongside the Curvv EV. While the EV’s pricing was disclosed on August 7, the ICE variant is set to launch on September 2. The ICE Curvv will come with a choice of engines: a 1.2L Revotron petrol, a new 1.2L DI turbo GDI petrol, and a 1.5L turbo diesel. Notably, the diesel engine will feature a segment-first seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.2L DI turbo petrol engine will deliver 125 PS of power and 225 Nm of torque, though the 1.5L turbo diesel’s specs are still under wraps. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift:
Hyundai is preparing to launch the facelifted Alcazar, which will feature notable cosmetic updates and an enhanced cabin with a range of new features. Key features will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, Level 2 ADAS, and a dual-pane sunroof.
