Hyundai launches Venue E+ variant slots between the base-spec E and mid-spec S variants of the SUV, with its only addition being a sunroof. This variant also features a semi-digital driver’s display, front power windows, and manual AC. Safety is ensured with 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC). Powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, it is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Priced between ₹7.94 lakh and ₹13.48 lakh (ex-showroom), the Venue responds to the growing demand for sunroofs in India, now offering this sought-after feature even in its more budget-friendly E+ variant.

A sunroof has become one of the most desired features in the Indian automotive market, even for mass-market cars. Automakers have started incorporating this feature into more affordable variants of their models. Hyundai has followed suit with the Venue, introducing a new E+ variant that includes a single-pane sunroof.

The newly launched Hyundai Venue E+ variant with a sunroof is priced at ₹8.23 lakh, making it only ₹29,000 more expensive than the base-spec E variant. This makes the Venue E+ the most affordable subcompact SUV in India with a sunroof.

Additional Features in the E+ Variant:

Along with the sunroof, the new E+ variant of the Hyundai Venue offers several amenities, including a semi-digital driver’s display, adjustable headrests for all seats, 60:40 split rear seats, front power windows, and manual air conditioning. It also comes with a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a Type-C USB charger, and a day/night inside rearview mirror (IRVM). For safety, the E+ variant is equipped with 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, hill start assist, 3-point seat belts for all seats, and rear parking sensors.

Powertrain Details:

The Hyundai Venue E+ is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. In higher-spec variants, the Venue offers additional engine options, including a 120 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Price Range & Rivals:

The Hyundai Venue is priced between ₹7.94 lakh and ₹13.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with other popular subcompact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. The Venue will also face competition from the upcoming Skoda Kushaq.
