Mahindra has introduced a fresh Mocha Brown interior option for the Thar Roxx 4×4 variants at no extra cost. This change comes after users raised concerns about the off-white interiors getting easily soiled with regular use. The Mocha option will now be available alongside the existing dual-tone ivory and black color scheme.
Exclusive to 4×4 Variants
The new Mocha Brown interior is reserved solely for the 4×4 variants. Mahindra’s decision to make this change followed feedback received during initial media test drives. While other variants will continue to offer the off-white (Ivory) interiors, the 4×4 versions will get the exclusive Mocha Brown leatherette finish.
Interior Themes
Both the Ivory White and Mocha Brown themes are available for the Thar Roxx 4×4 variants. From October 3, 2024, customers can choose between these interior options when booking their vehicle. While models with ivory interiors will be delivered starting this month, those opting for Mocha Brown will receive their vehicles by late January 2025.

Price Range
Prices for the Thar Roxx 4×4 start from Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 22.49 lakh for the top-end variant. Mahindra revealed these prices over a month after the SUV’s official debut. The 4×4 variants come exclusively with a diesel engine and are offered in three trims: MX5, AX5 L, and AX7 L.
Engine Specs
The Thar Roxx 4×4 is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The manual version delivers 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, while the automatic variant boosts these figures to 172 bhp and 370 Nm. The SUV comes with three off-road terrain modes—Snow, Sand, and Mud—enhancing its performance in tough conditions. It also features IntelliTurn, a system that locks the inside rear wheel to improve the vehicle’s turning radius, a feature exclusive to the 4×4 model.
