Ducati Unveils the All-New XDiavel V4

Ducati has officially revealed the all-new XDiavel V4, offering a more touring-friendly alternative to the Diavel V4. With improved ergonomics and a few mechanical tweaks, the XDiavel V4 blends power with comfort, making it an exciting addition to Ducati’s lineup.

  • Unveiled globally with a focus on comfort and touring capabilities.
  • Features a new chain drive system instead of the previous belt drive.
  • Revised rider triangle with a wider, rear-set handlebar and forward-set footpegs.
  • Lower seat height of 770 mm for better accessibility.
  • Heavier by 6 kg compared to the Diavel V4.

Design and Styling

Visually, the XDiavel V4 retains the aggressive styling of the Diavel V4 but incorporates subtle design changes. These include:

  • Less prominent air inlets at the front.
  • Redesigned alloy wheels.
  • Mildly revised tail section.
  • Wider seat with thicker cushioning for enhanced comfort.

Technology and Features

The XDiavel V4 is equipped with cutting-edge electronics, ensuring a refined and safe riding experience:

  • 6.9-inch TFT display similar to the Diavel V4.
  • Cornering ABS and traction control for enhanced safety.
  • Ride modes, wheelie control, and cruise control for a tailored riding experience.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is powered by a 1,158cc V4 engine delivering:

  • Power Output: 170 bhp
  • Torque: 126 Nm
  • Transmission: Six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter
  • Suspension: 50 mm upside-down front fork with 120 mm travel, rear monoshock with 145 mm travel (both fully adjustable)
  • Braking System: Dual 330 mm discs with Brembo Stylema 4-piston calipers at the front, single 265 mm disc at the rear
