This Lamborghini Is Built for One Thing Only—Winning Races

Lamborghini has taken its already impressive Temerario supercar and stripped it down to its bare essentials—all in the name of speed and victory. Introducing the Temerario GT3, a no-compromise, hybrid-free racing machine that’s set to make its track debut at the Sebring 12 Hours in March 2026.

If you thought the road-going Temerario was wild, wait till you see what Lamborghini has done for the track. This is not just another supercar—this is a weapon built to win.


Lamborghini Temerario GT3

Goodbye Hybrid—Hello Raw V8 Power

While the road version of the Temerario flaunts a strong hybrid powertrain, the GT3 version completely ditches it. Lamborghini has removed the front electric motors, battery pack, and everything hybrid-related to meet FIA GT3 regulations and keep the weight as low as possible.

What’s left is a twin-turbocharged V8, now tuned for endurance racing. It pumps out 543 bhp—significantly lower than the hybrid’s 789 bhp—but it’s not about raw numbers here. Lamborghini has remapped the engine for a wider powerband, optimized for long races, not sprints. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed transverse-mounted gearbox designed specifically for racing conditions.


A Chassis Built to Take the Heat

The Temerario GT3’s aluminium spaceframe has been heavily reworked. The front and rear subframes are now removable and lighter, and all hybrid-related supports have been removed. The central chassis has been strengthened with a GT3-spec FIA roll cage, meeting safety and racing requirements.


Carbon Body Built for Speed—and Repairs

At first glance, the GT3 might look similar to its road-legal sibling, but Lamborghini insists: every panel is different. The entire bodyshell is constructed from carbon composite materials, designed not just for lightness, but also for quick replacements during races.

  • The front and rear ends are single-piece modules,
  • Lights come with quick-connect plugs,
  • Even the underfloor can be swapped out mid-race thanks to a modular design.

This is a race car built for both performance and pit-lane efficiency.


Aerodynamics Dialed to the Max

To stay glued to the tarmac at high speeds, the Temerario GT3 features aero upgrades that go far beyond cosmetic tweaks:

  • Larger rear diffuser
  • Extended front splitter
  • Aggressive new ducting and venting
  • Massive GT3-spec rear wing

These enhancements ensure improved downforce, cooling, and airflow management, all crucial for competitive racing.


Race-Spec Suspension and Steering

Lamborghini has fitted the Temerario GT3 with six-way adjustable KW dampers, the same technology used in their SC63 LMDh prototype. These allow for quick adjustments depending on the track and race conditions.

Also new is a bespoke hydraulic power steering system, delivering the precision and feedback needed for high-stakes racing.


A Cabin Designed for Battle, Not Comfort

Inside the cabin, every ounce of luxury is gone. What remains is a purely functional, regulation-compliant cockpit with:

  • FIA-spec switches and controls
  • A single race seat with a multi-point harness
  • No creature comforts—only performance essentials

The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 isn’t just a track version of a road car—it’s a total transformation. From the hybrid-free powertrain to the race-ready chassis and carbon body, every element has been reengineered for one goal: winning.

Set to debut at the 2026 Sebring 12 Hours, this machine marks Lamborghini’s most focused entry yet into the world of GT3 racing. The message is clear: no gimmicks, no hybrids—just pure racing pedigree.
