Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has officially launched the 2025 iteration of its adventure-tourer, the XL750 Transalp, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom), the latest version carries forward the same cost as the outgoing model, but now comes with refreshed cosmetics and a few functional upgrades that aim to enhance its touring capabilities.

All about the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp

Updated Design with Subtle Refinements

The most visible design change on the 2025 Transalp is the sleeker headlamp setup, now more in line with Honda’s flagship Africa Twin. A new air inlet positioned between the windscreen ensures better aerodynamics and improved wind deflection around the rider’s helmet, enhancing comfort during long rides. Honda has also reworked the switchgear for a more premium and intuitive user experience.

Modern Display and Connectivity

The new Transalp continues to pack a 5-inch full-colour TFT display, now updated with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and smartphone integration. Riders can manage their calls and navigation right from the display, making it more tech-forward than ever before.

Enhanced Rider Aids and Electronics

The motorcycle features throttle-by-wire technology, offering five riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and a customizable option. Additional electronic aids include:

  • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
  • Dual-channel ABS
  • Slipper clutch for smoother downshifts

These features ensure optimal performance across varied terrains, solidifying the Transalp’s off-road and touring credentials.

Mechanical Upgrades and Suspension Tweaks

While the motorcycle retains its 755cc parallel-twin engine, Honda has fine-tuned its suspension setup to improve comfort and control. It continues with a 43mm Showa upside-down fork at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear, but with increased compression and rebound damping for better ride quality on diverse surfaces.

Brakes and Chassis Remain Familiar

The braking hardware remains unchanged with:

  • 310mm twin-disc front brakes
  • 256mm single rear disc

These ensure reliable stopping power while maintaining the bike’s balanced dynamics.

Availability and Bookings of Honda XL750 Transalp

Bookings for the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp are now open across Honda BigWing dealerships in India. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2025.

Final Thoughts on Honda XL750 Transalp

With the 2025 XL750 Transalp, Honda sticks to its proven formula but refines it for a more modern and capable adventure-touring experience. The subtle design tweaks, upgraded electronics, and suspension improvements collectively aim to make the new Transalp more appealing to seasoned adventurers and weekend tourers alike.
