KTM India has given its popular RC 200 motorcycle a much-needed tech upgrade for 2025. The full-faired sportbike now comes equipped with a 5.0-inch full-colour TFT display, bringing it on par with other models in KTM’s portfolio. Priced at ₹2.54 lakh (ex-showroom), the update arrives alongside a recent price hike of ₹11,000 and aims to offer better value for money with new features and compliance updates.
All about 2025 KTM RC 200
TFT Display & Smartphone Connectivity Now Standard
Replacing the older LCD unit, the RC 200 now gets a sleek 5.0-inch TFT display that supports smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and essential ride alerts. This feature-rich instrument cluster is accompanied by a new switchgear setup, featuring a menu navigation cube similar to that found on the KTM 390 series, allowing for easier interface control while riding.
New Metallic Grey Colour Option
Apart from the digital upgrade, KTM has also introduced a new Metallic Grey paint scheme that gives the RC 200 a fresh and premium look. This new colour option adds a visual appeal that complements the bike’s sporty character.
Now OBD-2B Compliant
The 2025 KTM RC 200 is now compliant with the OBD-2B emission norms, aligning with current government regulations. This ensures better monitoring of emissions and vehicle health diagnostics while maintaining performance standards.
No Mechanical Changes in 2025 KTM RC 200
Mechanically, the RC 200 remains unchanged. It continues to draw power from a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.6 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension components include a WP Apex upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The motorcycle comes with dual disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, 835 mm seat height, and a kerb weight of 160 kg.
Final Thoughts
With the 2025 update, the KTM RC 200 becomes an even more compelling option for young riders looking for a tech-loaded and stylish sportbike. The addition of a TFT display, smartphone connectivity, and a new colour option—combined with compliance to stricter emission norms—makes the recent price hike easier to digest. Whether you’re upgrading or buying your first KTM, the new RC 200 offers both flair and function.
