Honda 2Wheelers India has officially revealed the latest addition to its commuter lineup – the Honda Shine 100 DX. This new 100cc bike expands the popular Shine portfolio with a refreshed look, new features, and enhanced practicality tailored to appeal to the modern-day rider. The Shine 100 DX aims to set a new benchmark in the competitive 100cc commuter segment that currently sees strong players like the Hero Splendor, Bajaj Platina 100, and TVS Sport.

Fresh Design with Youth Appeal
The Honda Shine 100 DX comes with noticeable styling updates compared to the standard Shine 100. A newly designed headlamp with a chrome garnish gives it a distinct front look. The fuel tank is sculpted and wide, offering a more premium appearance and better knee grip. The upright riding posture with a long single seat ensures everyday comfort for both rider and pillion, making it ideal for daily commutes.
Packed with Practical Features
This commuter motorcycle is equipped with key functional features such as a digital meter, alloy wheels, and a wide 10-litre fuel tank which adds to its practicality for long rides. The Shine 100 DX offers four vibrant colour options that cater to a younger demographic looking for style along with substance.

Powering the Shine 100 DX is a vertically-positioned 98.98cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 7.2 bhp and 8.04 Nm of torque, mated to a smooth 4-speed gearbox. The motor is tuned for high fuel efficiency and reliable city commuting.
The motorcycle’s suspension setup includes a telescopic fork at the front and a 5-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends, keeping it affordable while offering reliable stopping power.
