Forget Everything You Knew About the Triumph Trident 660 – The 2025 Model is Here!

Triumph has introduced the 2025 version of its popular Trident 660, a bike that made its debut in 2020 as the brand’s entry-level triple-cylinder offering. Although it’s no longer Triumph’s most affordable motorcycle due to the introduction of 400 cc models like the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, the 2025 Trident 660 still appeals to both new and experienced riders. This iteration brings a host of updates aimed at improving rider comfort and technology, ensuring the bike remains competitive in the global market.

Key Tech Upgrades: IMU, Quickshifter, and Connectivity

One of the most significant upgrades to the 2025 Trident 660 is the inclusion of a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). This tech, previously reserved for high-end superbikes, enhances the bike’s lean sensitivity, traction control, and cornering ABS. The addition of the IMU makes riding smoother and safer, particularly in challenging conditions.

The Triumph Shift Assist Quickshifter also sees improvements, allowing for smoother gear changes. Meanwhile, connectivity features like phone pairing and turn-by-turn navigation are now standard, ensuring a seamless riding experience. The updated TFT display provides more information, including ambient temperature and a new Sport riding mode alongside Road and Rain modes.

Enhanced Comfort with Showa Suspension

Triumph has paid special attention to rider comfort with upgraded 41 mm Showa inverted forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. These changes introduce softer springs, improving the suspension setup for a smoother ride over various road surfaces, making long rides more enjoyable.

Power and Performance Remain Unchanged

The 2025 Trident 660 retains its familiar 660 cc triple-cylinder engine, delivering 81 hp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. This engine setup, known for its punchy mid-range and smooth power delivery, remains competitive with international models like the Yamaha MT-07 and Honda CB750 Hornet.

Stylish New Colors of 2025 Triumph Trident 660

Aesthetic appeal is key for any bike, and the 2025 Trident 660 doesn’t disappoint. The new model is available in a range of eye-catching colors, including Cobalt Blue, Cosmic Yellow, Diablo Red, and Jet Black. These vibrant hues complement the bike’s modern design, making it stand out on the road.

Conclusion: A Comprehensive Upgrade for 2025

The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 enhances what was already a well-rounded motorcycle. With improvements in rider-assist technology, suspension, and connectivity, it continues to cater to both new and seasoned riders. Despite these upgrades, Triumph has managed to keep the price consistent with the previous version, making it an even more attractive option in its segment.
