Hero MotoCorp has officially announced that bookings for the new Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R will open on March 20, 2025. These motorcycles made their first appearance at EICMA 2024 before being launched in India at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. Initially, bookings were expected to begin in February, but they were delayed, with deliveries now scheduled to commence soon after the booking window opens.

Hero Xpulse 210: Entry-Level Adventure Redefined

Pricing & Design Updates

The Hero Xpulse 210 is priced at Rs 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom) and is set to replace the current Xpulse 200 in Hero’s lineup. While retaining the adventure-ready aesthetics of its predecessor, the new model introduces a sharper front mudguard, wider fuel tank covers, a taller windscreen, and a compact exhaust for a more refined look.

Technology & Features

Equipped with a new TFT instrument cluster, the Xpulse 210 brings smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and switchable ABS with multiple riding modes for enhanced control. These features make it a more modern and versatile adventure bike.

Engine & Performance

The Xpulse 210 is powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 24 bhp and 20.7 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch for smooth gear shifts. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork offering 210 mm of travel at the front and a monoshock with 205 mm of travel at the rear, ensuring optimal comfort on rough terrains.

Hero Xtreme 250R: Most Powerful Xtreme Yet

Pricing & Design

The Hero Xtreme 250R has been launched at a price of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most powerful iteration in the Xtreme series. The bike’s aggressive streetfighter styling is inspired by the Xtunt 2.5R concept showcased by Hero in 2023.

Chassis & Handling

Built around a trellis frame, the Xtreme 250R boasts an impressive 50:50 weight distribution, ensuring stability and agile handling. It features a 43mm USD fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, enhancing its riding dynamics. Braking is managed by disc brakes on both ends, paired with dual-channel ABS offering selectable modes for varied road conditions.

Engine & Electronics

At its heart, the Xtreme 250R is powered by a 250cc liquid-cooled engine producing 29.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, coupled with a six-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch. Like the Xpulse 210, the bike features a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and navigation support, enhancing the rider’s experience.

Conclusion

With bookings opening on March 20, 2025, the Hero Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R are set to bring advanced technology, improved performance, and updated styling to their respective segments. While the Xpulse 210 aims to be the go-to choice for adventure enthusiasts, the Xtreme 250R caters to riders looking for a stylish and powerful streetfighter. Given their competitive pricing and feature-packed offerings, both motorcycles are expected to generate significant interest among buyers.
