Honda has introduced the CB300F Flex Fuel motorcycle in India, priced at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). This model runs on a blend of ethanol and gasoline, with up to 85% ethanol, offering a greener alternative in line with global carbon reduction efforts. Despite its eco-friendly nature, the bike retains strong performance thanks to its 293cc single-cylinder engine. Available in one variant with two color options, the CB300F Flex Fuel is now open for bookings and will be available at Honda’s BigWing dealerships by the end of the month, marking a major step in promoting biofuel in India.

What’s New in the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel?

Apart from the Flex Fuel upgrade, the 2024 Honda CB300F maintains its core features, including its design, hardware, and engine configuration. It comes in two paint finishes—Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic—also found on the standard model. The primary visual change is the inclusion of a green “FlexTech” decal on the tank cover. The digital instrument cluster remains the same but now includes an ethanol indicator that activates when the fuel blend exceeds 85% ethanol.

Mechanical Setup:

The Honda CB300F is powered by a 293cc single-cylinder engine, which complies with OBD II standards and produces 24bhp of power and 25.6Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. The bike is equipped with a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock and golden upside-down front forks for suspension, while braking is handled by a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS for optimal safety and control.

Features:

The Honda CB300F boasts a fully digital instrument cluster with five brightness levels, showing key information like speed, odometer, tachometer, gear position, fuel gauge, and dual trip meters. It also includes premium features such as Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HTSC), all-LED lighting, and the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), offering enhanced convenience and functionality for riders.
