Jeep India has introduced a special limited-edition model of the Wrangler, the Willys ’41 Edition, priced at ₹73.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Inspired by the iconic 1941 Willys MB, the SUV pays homage to Jeep’s military roots and is limited to just 30 units across India.

All about Jeep Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition

Based on the Rugged Rubicon

The Willys ’41 Edition is built on the capable Wrangler Rubicon trim and commands a premium of ₹1.5 lakh over the standard model. Known for its off-road prowess, the Rubicon provides a robust platform for this heritage edition.

Exclusive ’41 Green Paint & Decals

Visually setting it apart, the Willys ‘41 Edition wears an exclusive ’41 Green military-style paint scheme. A ‘1941’ decal on the hood commemorates the original Willys MB that served in World War II, bringing in a strong dose of nostalgia and legacy.

Feature Additions Over Standard Rubicon

The Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition comes with a host of additional features, including:

  • Power-operated side steps
  • Grab handles
  • All-weather floor mats
  • Dual dash cameras

These upgrades complement the already loaded Rubicon variant, enhancing convenience while keeping the off-road DNA intact.

Jeep Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition: Optional Accessory Package

For those looking to personalize even further, Jeep offers an exclusive accessory package priced at ₹4.56 lakh. While optional, it enhances the vehicle’s capability and aesthetic appeal for enthusiasts seeking distinction.

Same Power, Legendary Capability

Under the hood, the Willys ‘41 Edition continues with the tried-and-tested 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV retains four-wheel drive, locking differentials, low-range gearing, and the full suite of off-road hardware.

Jeep India’s Take on the Launch

Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director of Jeep India, said:

“The Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is more than a vehicle—it’s a tribute to Jeep’s timeless legacy of freedom, adventure, and authenticity. It’s a celebration of everything Jeep represents, thoughtfully designed for those who value distinction rooted in legacy.”

Conclusion

With only 30 units available, the Jeep Wrangler Willys ‘41 Edition is a rare blend of military-inspired design and modern off-road engineering. For enthusiasts and collectors alike, this model isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a piece of Jeep history reborn for Indian roads.
