Renault has officially launched the updated 2025 Renault Triber in India with prices starting from Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The refreshed subcompact MPV brings significant changes to its design, interior layout, and features while retaining its practical 1.0-litre petrol engine and versatile three-row layout. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what the new Triber offers for Indian buyers.

Variants and Pricing of the New Renault Triber

The 2025 Triber is available in four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Here’s a look at the updated price list:

  • Authentic – Rs 6.29 lakh
  • Evolution – Rs 7.24 lakh
  • Techno – Rs 7.99 lakh
  • Emotion – Rs 8.64 lakh

The AMT transmission option is exclusively available on the top-spec Emotion variant and comes at an additional cost of Rs 52,000.

Updated Exterior Design with a Stronger Visual Identity

While the Triber retains its original silhouette with the stepped roof to improve rear headroom, the front fascia sees a complete transformation. Key exterior changes include:

  • A new layered grille with 3D elements
  • Redesigned headlamps and sculpted bonnet
  • A chunkier bumper with a large air intake and fog lamps placed lower
  • Revised tail-lamp internals with LED elements
  • Black trim connecting the rear lights and a more squared-off rear bumper

The Triber now comes in three new color options: Amber Terracota, Shadow Grey and Zanskar Blue. The side profile features new Flex wheels (steel with styled covers) instead of full alloy wheels.

Refreshed Cabin With Light Tones and New Touchpoints

The cabin of the 2025 Triber now feels more open and contemporary thanks to lighter plastics and revised seat fabrics. Other changes include:

  • A redesigned centre console
  • Lower-set central AC vents
  • A new freestanding 8.0-inch touchscreen
  • Retained storage shelf at the base of the dashboard

Despite the cosmetic updates, the Triber continues to offer its signature three-row seating with removable third-row seats for enhanced boot flexibility.

Feature Upgrades on the 2025 New Renault Triber

Renault has packed the new Triber with more convenience and safety features, especially in the higher trims. New additions include:

  • LED projector headlamps and fog lamps
  • Auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers
  • Cruise control and front parking sensors
  • 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Six airbags, ESP, and tyre pressure monitoring system as standard

Engine and Transmission Options

Mechanically, the Triber remains unchanged and continues to be powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering:

  • 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque
  • Transmission choices: 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT
  • Option for dealer-fitted CNG kit retained

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Renault Triber brings thoughtful design and feature upgrades while maintaining its core strengths of affordability, flexibility, and practicality. With improved aesthetics, more tech, and enhanced safety, the updated Triber remains a strong contender in the budget MPV segment, especially for families looking for a compact yet spacious car under Rs 10 lakh.
