Suzuki has upgraded the iconic Hayabusa to meet the stringent OBD2B emission norms. Interestingly, this update doesn’t come with a price hike — the superbike continues to retail at ₹16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

What’s New in the 2025 Model

For 2025, the India-spec Suzuki Hayabusa receives a cosmetic refresh with three new colour options. However, it misses out on the minor feature upgrades that the global version recently received.

New Colour Options

The 2025 Hayabusa is now available in three fresh colour schemes:

  • Metallic Mat Steel Green / Glass Sparkle Black
  • Glass Sparkle Black / Metallic Mat Titanium Silver
  • Metallic Mystic Silver / Pearl Vigor Blue

Mechanical Specs & Performance

Under the skin, nothing has changed. It retains its powerful 1340cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that churns out 190hp and 150Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

Features & Electronics

Since the launch of the Gen-3 model in 2020, the Hayabusa has been loaded with electronic aids such as traction control, multiple power modes, launch control, cruise control, and dual-channel ABS — all supported by a six-axis IMU. That said, the latest Indian version does not include the minor electronic tweaks seen in the international variant.

Market Position

At ₹16.90 lakh, the Suzuki Hayabusa holds a unique spot in the Indian market with virtually no direct competitors in its segment. It remains a standout choice for performance enthusiasts.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa continues to uphold its legendary status in the Indian superbike market with a no-frills OBD2B update, retaining its powerful performance and premium electronics, all while keeping the price unchanged at ₹16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Though it skips the minor feature enhancements seen overseas, the addition of three striking new colour options ensures it still turns heads. With no direct rivals in its segment, the Hayabusa remains an unmatched blend of performance, legacy, and value.
