Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Overview: Nissan has subtly refreshed the Magnite with some much-needed styling upgrades, while keeping its starting price unchanged at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The powertrain options remain the same, and the SUV continues to be available in six broad variants.

If you’re eyeing the N-Connecta variant of the updated Magnite, this detailed report covers everything you need to know, presented across 8 images.

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant Price: The N-Connecta variant offers a range of engine and transmission choices, with prices starting at Rs 7.86 lakh and going up to Rs 10.34 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices vary depending on the engine-transmission combination, and are introductory, applicable only for the first 10,000 buyers of the facelifted model.

  • 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 5-speed MT: Rs 7.86 lakh
  • 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 5-speed AMT: Rs 8.36 lakh
  • 1-litre turbo-petrol, 5-speed MT: Rs 9.19 lakh
  • 1-litre turbo-petrol, CVT: Rs 10.34 lakh

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant Design: The N-Connecta variant gets an aggressive front fascia with a black honeycomb grille, complemented by halogen headlights and LED DRLs. A silver-finished skid plate is integrated into the redesigned bumper, enhancing its rugged look.

Upgraded over the lower trims, the N-Connecta adds 16-inch alloy wheels and body cladding. It also features functional roof rails (with a 50 kg load capacity) and body-coloured ORVMs that come with integrated LED turn signals.

The rear design closely resembles the pre-facelift model but includes updated taillights and a revised bumper with a skid plate. Standard features like the roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper with defogger, and shark fin antenna remain unchanged from the base variants.

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant Interior: Inside, the N-Connecta boasts an all-black cabin with contrasting silver accents for a sporty feel. The seats are covered in fabric, while the dashboard includes soft-touch leather elements. The door panels are enhanced with grey fabric inserts. However, it lacks the more premium dual-tone touches available in the higher trims.

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant Features: The N-Connecta comes with a solid list of features, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and a 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system. It also gets Type-C charging ports for both front and rear passengers, rear AC vents, and a push-button start/stop system.

Other standard conveniences carried over from the lower variants include power windows, an air filter, keyless entry, and steering-mounted controls.

In terms of safety, it’s equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, 3-point seat belts for all passengers, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.

Nissan Magnite N-Connecta Variant Engine Options: The N-Connecta is available with two engine choices: a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (72 PS/96 Nm) and a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine (100 PS/160 Nm). The naturally aspirated unit can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, while the turbocharged engine offers a choice between a 5-speed manual and a CVT.

Competition: Priced competitively, the 2024 Magnite facelift competes with rivals like the Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Toyota Taisor, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Citroen Basalt, and Mahindra XUV300.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Nissan Magnite N-Connecta variant offers an impressive blend of style, features, and value with its subtle design upgrades and comprehensive feature list, all while maintaining competitive pricing. With engine options ranging from the efficient naturally aspirated petrol to the more powerful turbocharged unit, the N-Connecta caters to diverse driving preferences. Whether it’s the sporty exterior enhancements or the tech-packed interior, this variant stands out as a strong contender in its segment, making it an attractive choice for those seeking an affordable, well-rounded compact SUV.
