Coming soon! Nissan’s Magnite Facelift launches in India on October 4

Nissan is continuing to broaden its product lineup in the Indian market. As part of this growth initiative, the brand is set to introduce the facelifted version of the Magnite SUV on October 4. The SUV, first launched in 2020, has been in need of an update. Although Nissan has not yet disclosed any specific details about the updated model, it is expected to come with several cosmetic changes over the current version. The facelift might also bring some revisions to the vehicle’s feature list.

Design Updates

The Nissan Magnite Facelift is expected to feature a redesigned bumper and grille, giving it a fresh new look. The headlamps, however, will likely retain a similar design to the outgoing model. To further enhance its appeal, the facelift might introduce newly designed alloy wheels. On the inside, Nissan may refresh the cabin with updated upholstery and tech upgrades, although the dashboard layout is expected to remain largely unchanged.

Current Features

The outgoing Nissan Magnite already boasts a range of features, including a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, traction control, wireless charging, an air purifier, and ambient lighting. These features have made the Magnite a well-equipped SUV in its segment.

Mechanical Specs

Mechanically, the upcoming Nissan Magnite Facelift is expected to carry over the same powertrains as the current model. It will continue with the 1.0-litre petrol engine, delivering 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque in its naturally aspirated version. The turbocharged variant will generate 100 hp and 160 Nm of torque. The NA engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox, while the turbo petrol engine will offer a CVT option.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the upcoming Nissan Magnite Facelift, set to launch in India on October 4, promises a blend of cosmetic updates and potential feature enhancements while retaining its strong mechanical foundation. With its refreshed design, updated tech, and the continuation of its reliable 1.0-litre petrol engine options, the facelift aims to bolster the Magnite’s appeal in the competitive Indian SUV market. Although specific details are yet to be revealed, the anticipated improvements should make the new Magnite an attractive option for prospective buyers.
