Lamborghini has taken its already impressive Temerario supercar and stripped it down to its bare essentials—all in the name of speed and victory. Introducing the Temerario GT3, a no-compromise, hybrid-free racing machine that’s set to make its track debut at the Sebring 12 Hours in March 2026.

If you thought the road-going Temerario was wild, wait till you see what Lamborghini has done for the track. This is not just another supercar—this is a weapon built to win.

Lamborghini Temerario GT3

Goodbye Hybrid—Hello Raw V8 Power

While the road version of the Temerario flaunts a strong hybrid powertrain, the GT3 version completely ditches it. Lamborghini has removed the front electric motors, battery pack, and everything hybrid-related to meet FIA GT3 regulations and keep the weight as low as possible.

What’s left is a twin-turbocharged V8, now tuned for endurance racing. It pumps out 543 bhp—significantly lower than the hybrid’s 789 bhp—but it’s not about raw numbers here. Lamborghini has remapped the engine for a wider powerband, optimized for long races, not sprints. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed transverse-mounted gearbox designed specifically for racing conditions.

A Chassis Built to Take the Heat

The Temerario GT3’s aluminium spaceframe has been heavily reworked. The front and rear subframes are now removable and lighter, and all hybrid-related supports have been removed. The central chassis has been strengthened with a GT3-spec FIA roll cage, meeting safety and racing requirements.

Carbon Body Built for Speed—and Repairs

At first glance, the GT3 might look similar to its road-legal sibling, but Lamborghini insists: every panel is different. The entire bodyshell is constructed from carbon composite materials, designed not just for lightness, but also for quick replacements during races.

  • The front and rear ends are single-piece modules,
  • Lights come with quick-connect plugs,
  • Even the underfloor can be swapped out mid-race thanks to a modular design.

This is a race car built for both performance and pit-lane efficiency.

Aerodynamics Dialed to the Max

To stay glued to the tarmac at high speeds, the Temerario GT3 features aero upgrades that go far beyond cosmetic tweaks:

  • Larger rear diffuser
  • Extended front splitter
  • Aggressive new ducting and venting
  • Massive GT3-spec rear wing

These enhancements ensure improved downforce, cooling, and airflow management, all crucial for competitive racing.

Race-Spec Suspension and Steering

Lamborghini has fitted the Temerario GT3 with six-way adjustable KW dampers, the same technology used in their SC63 LMDh prototype. These allow for quick adjustments depending on the track and race conditions.

Also new is a bespoke hydraulic power steering system, delivering the precision and feedback needed for high-stakes racing.

A Cabin Designed for Battle, Not Comfort

Inside the cabin, every ounce of luxury is gone. What remains is a purely functional, regulation-compliant cockpit with:

  • FIA-spec switches and controls
  • A single race seat with a multi-point harness
  • No creature comforts—only performance essentials

Countdown to Sebring: A New Chapter for Lamborghini Motorsport

The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 isn’t just a track version of a road car—it’s a total transformation. From the hybrid-free powertrain to the race-ready chassis and carbon body, every element has been reengineered for one goal: winning.

Set to debut at the 2026 Sebring 12 Hours, this machine marks Lamborghini’s most focused entry yet into the world of GT3 racing. The message is clear: no gimmicks, no hybrids—just pure racing pedigree.

Conclusion

With the Temerario GT3, Lamborghini isn’t just showing off its engineering capabilities—it’s making a statement. By ditching hybrid tech and going all-in on race-tuned V8 performance, the brand has built a car that’s ready to fight and win on the world’s toughest circuits.

This Lamborghini isn’t for the road, or for the faint-hearted. It’s for the podium.
