Triumph Motorcycle India has officially announced the prices of the tubeless spoke wheels offered on the Scrambler 400 XC, a premium variant of the Scrambler 400 X. Launched in May 2025 at ₹2.94 lakh (ex-showroom), the Scrambler 400 XC set itself apart with added equipment, including these imported wheels.
Tubeless Spoke Wheels Now Available for Triumph Scrambler 400 X Owners
Good news for existing Scrambler 400 X owners: the highly coveted tubeless spoke wheels can now be purchased as an upgrade. But it comes at a steep price. The front wheel is priced at ₹34,876 and the rear wheel at ₹36,875, bringing the total to over ₹70,000. These wheels are imported, which explains the premium pricing.
Why So Expensive?
While the XC variant is just ₹27,000 more expensive than the standard Scrambler 400 X, that amount doesn’t even cover the cost of one tubeless wheel. Triumph justifies the pricing by pointing out that the wheels are imported components. For context, Royal Enfield’s tubeless spoke wheels, if purchased aftermarket, now cost ₹40,655, but just ₹11,000 when bundled with the motorcycle.
Added Weight, Limited Warranty
It’s worth noting that these spoke wheels add 1.1 kg compared to the stock alloy wheels. Triumph assures that the wheels can be directly swapped on the Scrambler 400 X. However, there’s a caveat—warranty coverage is limited. Only manufacturing defects in the rims are covered. Any damage from riding (like bent rims or spoke issues) falls outside warranty protection.

The Scrambler 400 XC joins a short list of motorcycles manufactured in India that come with factory-fitted tubeless spoke wheels, alongside the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and Goan Classic 350. This makes it a unique offering in its segment, especially for riders seeking rugged performance with the added advantage of tubeless reliability.

For enthusiasts who prioritize style and off-road capability, the upgrade might still be worth it. But for many, opting directly for the Scrambler 400 XC could offer better value overall.
