VLF Brings Its First Petrol Scooter to India
Italian two-wheeler brand Velocifero (VLF) has launched the Mobster 135 in India, priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,500 buyers. After making its debut in India with the Tennis electric scooter, this is VLF’s first ICE (petrol-powered) scooter for the market. The scooter is being retailed under the MotoHaus network by KAW Veloce Motors, alongside Brixton motorcycles.

The VLF Mobster 135 stands out from conventional 125 cc scooters on Indian roads. It features a distinctive split-headlamp setup with a tall visor, sharp side panels, and a slim rear taillamp. Buyers can choose from four colour schemes – Grey, Red, White, and Yellow.

At its heart, the Mobster 135 is powered by a 125 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with an Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT). It delivers 12.1 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 11.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, achieving a top speed of 100 kmph. Fuel efficiency is rated at 46 kmpl, supported by an 8-litre fuel tank.
