2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Launched, Starting at USD 28,355

Unveiled late last year, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift has recently been launched with petrol, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Initially showcased at the New York Auto Show in November 2023, the redesigned 2025 Tucson SUV now boasts significant exterior and interior updates. Available in the USA, it starts at USD 28,355, which is approximately Rs 23.7 lakh at current exchange rates.

Design and Features

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift continues to be a global favorite, known for its design, performance, versatility, and other qualities. For 2025, Hyundai has introduced substantial interior updates and subtle yet noticeable exterior changes. An Indian launch is anticipated in the future. The facelift features a new fascia with a redesigned grille, LED DRL signature, and bumpers. The new wheels are more stylized, and the overall design maintains the pre-facelift’s distinctive lines and creases.

Market Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift, launched in markets like the USA, Malaysia, and India, is available in a long-wheelbase (LWB) version, unlike the short-wheelbase (SWB) version sold in Europe. The facelift has led to price increases, with USA prices rising by up to USD 755 (Rs 63K). The base SE trim in the USA starts at USD 28,355 (around Rs 23.7 lakh), with an optional AWD setup for an additional USD 1,500 (Rs 1.25 lakh). The Tucson Hybrid starts at USD 33,115 (Rs 27.7 lakh), while the Plug-in Hybrid begins at USD 39,380 (Rs 33 lakh).

Interior Updates

The interior of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson has seen the most significant changes. It features a new dashboard design with dual 12.3-inch screens, offering a faster processor and sharper graphics. The redesigned center console and stack include more physical controls, a new steering wheel with the “quad dot” logo, and an array of advanced features. The base variant is well-equipped with standard features such as LED lighting, acoustic glass, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, climate control, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 6-speaker audio system, and a 4.2-inch instrument screen. The ADAS suite includes all necessary safety features.

Powertrains

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson offers a 187 bhp 2.5L engine, while the Tucson Hybrid features a 1.6L turbocharged engine paired with a 1.49 kWh battery, providing a total system output of 231 bhp. The top-spec Tucson Plug-in Hybrid comes with a larger 13.8 kWh battery, delivering a total output of 268 bhp and a pure-EV range of 53 km on a single charge.
