Mahindra has launched a special Boss Edition of the Scorpio Classic just in time for the festive season. This upgrade, available at dealerships, serves as an accessory pack featuring several visual enhancements to both the interior and exterior, differentiating it from the standard model. Pricing details for this edition are yet to be announced.

Exterior Features

The Scorpio Classic Boss Edition boasts dark chrome accents on its exterior. It includes black seat upholstery and a rear camera for added convenience. The vehicle retains its powerful 132hp, 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine.

What’s New in the Boss Edition

The exterior chrome details, such as the front grille and fog lamp housing, have been darkened. The bonnet scoop, rear quarter glass, headlamps, and tail-lamps also feature dark chrome embellishments. Additionally, this special edition introduces rain visors, a front skid plate, a rear guard with black powder coating, and a rear-view camera. The wing mirror caps are finished with a faux carbon-fiber look.

Interior Features

Inside, the Boss Edition enhances comfort with black seat upholstery and a Comfort Kit, which includes cushions and neck pillows for a more enjoyable driving experience.

Powertrain

The Scorpio Classic is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 132hp and 300Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Market Position

Currently, the Scorpio Classic faces no direct competitors in India, positioning itself as a rugged 7-seater alternative to midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition emerges as a striking choice for those seeking a blend of style and functionality this festive season. With its unique dark chrome accents, enhanced interior comfort features, and powerful diesel engine, it caters to both aesthetics and performance. Although it faces no direct rivals in the Indian market, it stands out as a rugged 7-seater SUV that competes effectively against midsize options like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. As more details on pricing become available, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is poised to attract adventure enthusiasts looking for a versatile and stylish vehicle.
